We recently had the great pleasure of spending three days in Porto and stayed at this amazing villa. I travel a lot and love to stay at houses I rent through VRBO and can unreservedly say that Sebastian's and Goretti's place is by for the nicest one I ever rented. Right after driving through the monumental gates we felt like royalty. And we continued to feel like that throughout our stay. The house is really beautiful, impeccably clean and very tastefully furnished, the grounds nicely maintained. There was even a private chapel with an old wood carved altar! We were lucky that the weather was warm enough to let us enjoy the swimming pool as well. But even more impressive that the villa and the grounds was the very warm and heartfelt hospitality of our hosts, Sebastian and Goretti. They made us feel like family right away, helped us order dinner the first night and welcomed us like old friends. I was very sorry that we could only communicate through a "translator"- two of the members of our group did speak Portugese. It did not seem to matter, there was still and excellent "heart-to-heart" communication. We were all very sorry we had to leave after three days.
